[Emile] Mangenot (1910 - 1991) in the lower left margin. "Landscape designer, Emile Mangenot soberly describes views of France". (in Bénézit). Water holds an essential place in his work. Relating to the Post-Impressionists at the time of his beginnings, he then managed to paint "the soul of the landscape".
