Magnificent little Duchess with swan's neck in Mahogany from the Empire period. Work from the 19th century. Chaise longue with full cheeks, rounded and arched backs, with an elongated seat. We call Duchess in boat or Gondola, the lounge chair in one part with a double bedside. It is covered with a light blue fabric with ribboned knot patterns (in worn condition, see photo). Very good condition of the woodwork. Removable seat. Seat height 41 cm. The cushion cover is removable. Resting on a molded saber base, the connecting dice are decorated with sculpted palmettes.
