Henry Darcy born October 21, 1840 in Troyes (Aube) and died November 25, 1926 in Sèvres (Hauts de Seines), was an industrialist2 and a senior French civil servant. The Central Committee of the Coal Mines of France was created in 1887, under the leadership of Henry Darcy, to defend the professional interests of the coal companies. The Central Committee of Coal Mines of France (CCHF) is a French employers' organization.
