Exceptional Pair of Louis XVI style Wine Coolers in Vermeil (Gold on Silver). Each piece rests on a base bordered by a frieze of pearls, body decorated with laurel garlands suspended from knots of ribbon called "Marie Antoinette", and nets with crossed ribbons applied under the neckline. Minerva 1st Title Hallmarks (.950) and Master Goldsmiths Hallmarks RISLER & CARRE (Hallmark with the initials "R&C", a star and a square) with their signature in full "A. RISLER & CARRE". Revised and cleaned by our Parisian silversmith, condition is very good condition, beautiful quality of the Vermeil, and just light signs of use to note.
