Brass frame. Guard at a branch. Bivalve keyboard decorated on the front with the caduceus framed with oak and laurel branches. Filigree fuse with golden threads (small gaps). Pommel monogrammed “FC”. Guttered blade (with stitching on the bottom), marked Manufacture d'armes de Châtellrault 1908 sword without carvings, length 84.5 cm. Natural buffalo tie. Steel scabbard with a ram bracelet, with brown leather scabbard protection case, cavalry scabbard holder and brown leather wrist strap. In good used condition.
