Impressionist school circa 1900: “The white shirt”, oil on canvas 40.5 x 33 cm, mounted in a beautiful gilded “eared” frame 50 x 42 cm. The love at first sight that we had when purchasing this painting “in its own juice” was confirmed with the cleaning which revealed the beautiful physiognomy of this mustachioed man in the shadow of his Basque beret, as well as the radiance of his dazzling white shirt held tight by a wide flannel belt.
