Large pewter PITCHER (Channe) in baluster shape with pedestal and quarter-round cup, lid and thumbscrew with ram's heads. Equipped with a fixed handle and a transport chain.
Hallmark of Giovanni del BARBA, active from 1830: crowned G.B.
Height: 36 cm.
VALAIS (SWITZERLAND), Circa 1840/50.

Very good condition, however an area of pitting is noted on the cup and visible on two of the photos overloaded with colored arrows.
This large pitcher offers a very beautiful decorative presence
