We do not recommend making it a floor.
This refractory terracotta would crumble and would not resist regular use for very long.

We recommend laying on or with a lime mortar.
It would be a crime to drown them in cement.
Oil and old materials do not mix!
The cathedrals are a thousand years old... and built with lime! Why sacrifice everything to concrete!
