"Large Ring-shaped Parc Pond - Overflowing Water Feature - Romantic Period, Circa 1840"
LARGE RING-SHAPED PARC POND
Overflowing water feature
Romantic period, circa 1840

Pond composed of 36 assembled pieces
- 12 low overflow pieces
- 12 intermediate water retention pieces
- 12 pieces raised above these

Outer diameter: 5.20 m
Inner diameter: 4 m
Height: 50 cm at the 12 highest intermediate pieces

Height: 45 cm at the 12 overflow sections

Ring of Northern stone
Bluish to dark beige hue
A few seasons will cover the
disparity in the stone's colors with lichen.

We have restored the upper pieces, either missing or damaged, separating the overflow sections, in our workshop.

The 12 raised sections can serve as
seating points for all types of decoration. Each section can be placed individually, interspersed, or
just 6 or 4. Or none at all…
Motorized water spouts can be considered,
returning the water to the basin – low gargoyles/cast iron frogs, etc.

The relatively large size of this basin
allows for these decorative additions, provided they are perfectly
appropriate and free of unnecessary or overly ostentatious additions.

A circular channel should be installed around the
periphery of this structure. It will collect overflows and, via underground piping,
return the water to the basin.

A hydraulic system with a submersible electric pump
is required to ensure water circulation and prevent the development of
odorous stagnation.

The water flow rate and the size of the water circulation sections
should be adjusted to ensure the overflow is clearly visible. The center of the basin can be fitted with a sprinkler
or simply a gentle surface ripple.

The diameter of this basin makes it perfectly possible to incorporate a spitting statue, a freestanding bowl, or any other decoration related to moving water.

A team of skilled masons will expertly reassemble all the pieces, which require careful and precise jointing. This involves a perfect installation that combines perfect planimetry to achieve a well-balanced surface around the basin with a skillful water feature.

We have the perfect team to carry out this work – if you're not in a hurry!

The entire basin, disassembled, weighs 4.2 tons and requires 5 shipping pallets.

Our usual carrier can deliver to any destination.

We are at your disposal for any additional technical or decorative information.
