"18th Century Box With Miniature On Ivory"
Pretty round box in composite material, probably lacquered horn powder. The interior is lined with tortoiseshell and the lid is decorated with a miniature on ivory representing a young woman with a bare breast. The miniature's surround is probably gold. Very good condition, a small, really unimportant crack on the side of the body of the box. Dimensions: diameter 7.5cm. Height: 2.5cm. Miniature with strapping: 5cm.
