Éliane Diverly, born August 27, 1914 in Grasse and died October 1, 2012 in Nogent-sur-Marne, is a French painter, portraitist, designer and watercolorist. Coming from a family of perfumers, she grew up in Grasse after spending her first years in Paris. Encouraged by her family, she followed the courses at La Grande Chaumière in Paris where she subsequently settled. She held her first exhibitions in Cannes and Nice. We owe her work for advertising, fashion magazines and particularly for the world of perfumery from which she comes. She was a member of the Drawing and Water Painting Salons, the Maritime Museum, National des Beaux Arts, and French Artists. Éliane Diverly was invited to present a retrospective of her works at the Salon des Indépendants in 1999. She received numerous decorations during her exhibitions. Her work is characterized by: portraits, animal paintings, landscape watercolors (mainly Paris, Provence and Brittany, often considered a student of Dunoyer de Segonzac), still lifes, symbolist painting. His works are notably represented at the Fragonard Museum in Grasse, the Saint-Maur Museum and the Sceaux Museum.
