Katar Indo-Persian, 18th - 19th century. The katar is mainly a thrusting weapon, but can also be used in size with a double-edged blade. Horizontal handle with double crossbar and long, two-edged blade with central groove. Flat two-edged blade measuring 30.5 cm and 3 cm wide at the heel.
