A modern and lively technique with the vigor of a first spray on the wooden panel, leaving beautiful reserves which vibrate and enhance the support for this superb oil by the Marseille artist Horace Richebé. The work is offered in a modern American box type frame in natural oak which measures 56 cm by 63 cm and 50 cm by 57 cm for the panel alone. It represents a schooner in the Old Port of Marseille with the bell tower of the Saint Laurent Church and the famous transporter bridge in the background.
In excellent condition, it is signed and dated 1915 lower left. An energetic and modern work which will find its place perfectly in a contemporary interior.
