Pair Of Art Deco Earthenware Vases From Longchamp, Colonial-inspired Decor
Very beautiful pair of Art Deco vases in the shape of an amphora with rolled handles, from the Longchamp factory. The decor is colonial-inspired, hand-painted in very warm ocher and terracotta tones, with a stylized leaping gazelle on the front. A few dots of white enamel sprinkled here and there in the arabesque decoration give relief to the whole. Note a chip at the base of one of the vases (see photo), otherwise the condition is perfect.
