"Porcelain Pot From Saint-cloud"
Large covered ointment pot or cylindrical sugar bowl in soft Saint-Cloud porcelain. Mid-18th century period around 1740. White enameled porcelain decorated (in the style of the Whites of China) in light relief of flowering prunus branches. Double silvered bronze mount at the neck of the pot and at the base of the lid. Mark below SC T and artist's mark to be deciphered R or G. A chip to report on the inner edge of the cover, not visible from the outside. Silvering in good condition with very few losses.
