"Spectacular Atalanta Sculpture Diana The Huntress Max Le Verrier De Marco, 1 M - 1925 Art Deco"
Spectacular and large Art Deco sculpture, in old cast iron and bronze for the arch. This Atalante group created by Max Le Verrier and Marcel Bouraine, represents Diane Huntress equipped with a bow hunting an antelope. The two sculptures in the group, Diana and the Antelope, rest on a reconstituted stone base.

This is one of Max Le Verrier's first models, after winning a gold medal in 1925 at the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts in Paris. Published under the pseudonym De Marco, this group was produced jointly by Marcel Bouraine and Max Le Verrier who used to work together. 

Very good original condition, old edition and the largest of this group which was made in different sizes, very beautiful patina
