Large bust (life size) depicting a "Marianne" in the style of an ancient Vestal Virgin. Allegorical face of the French Republic and important symbol of Liberty and Democracy, this pretty representation of "Marianne" is in good general condition despite some slight losses and scratches; it has a beautiful patina of general old use. French work from the second half of the 19th century. NB/ Item too large and fragile for postal delivery; collection on site or delivery by carrier at the buyer's choice and expense (approximately 200 euros excluding tax).
