Beautiful oval view drawing from the neoclassical period on laid paper depicting an "animated scene inside an ancient temple". Great quality and fineness of line and very good condition. No visible signature. Presented in a 19th century gilded wooden frame with some very slight gaps and repairs in the gilding; with its old glass and a beautiful old "Marie-Louise" also in thick watercolor paper.
