New Game Of Fables By La Fontaine, L(éon) S(aussine) Paris Circa 1885, Cardboard & Chromolitho

Here is a rare antique game, entitled "New Game of Fables of La Fontaine. The cover is decorated with a chromo lithograph by Ludovic, representing the fabulist, seated at his table, surrounded by his animals. The interior reveals 9 boards, upper part reveals the illustration of two fables, and the lower part, the titles of the fables preceded by a number, 8 per board. The interior also contains two small bags in pink silk moire. One includes 72 small cards (8 fables x 9 boards), on which the morals of the numbered fables are written. The other bag contains cardboard tokens:
12 tokens of number 1
4 tokens of number 2

1 token of number 4
3 tokens of number 5
1 token of number 10.. And 6 serial number tokens. Some must be missing. Inside we also find 1 small cardboard basket with blue decoration, the rules of the game (part of which is missing), and an advertisement for a game of "Loto des Metamorphoses".
Good general condition. As indicated above, some tokens must be missing, absence of part of the rules of the game, and small wear on the cover. Please look carefully at my detailed photos, I'm not hiding anything!
