LOUIS DELANOIS (Received Master on July 27, 1761) Very beautiful shepherdess stamped by Delanois in beech wood with its original lacquer. The legs are tapered and fluted. Stamp on the front crosspiece. This bergère with medallion back is covered in a pretty fabric with some wear (note a tear on the fabric of the cushion). Louis DELANOIS (1731-1792) is among the greatest carpenters of the 18th century, he will work for the Count of Artois but also for the Countess of Barry
