17th Century Walnut Writing Table, Louis XIII Desk With Twists,
Very beautiful Louis XIII period walnut writing table. It rests on four legs turned in twists and connected together by an H-shaped spacer also twisted. The ends of each leg are finished with a ball. Our table opens on the front with a large drawer in the belt and its opening is ensured by a central wrought iron button. The slides supporting the drawer have been completely revised. The whole thing is topped by an overflowing tray. This piece of furniture is in very good condition, it has old traces of wood-boring and some filling. We recall that this charming writing table comes to us from the 17th century.
