Exceptional wooden boat model animated with characters, representing the "HMS Victory", mainly known as Admiral Nelson's ship during the Battle of Trafalgar. He enjoyed a succession of victories at the head of the British fleet between 1778 and 1812. Today HMS Victory is the centerpiece of the Royal Naval Museum in Portsmouth. Our model is a faithful reproduction of the ship with attention to detail and remarkable quality of execution. It dates from the end of the 19th century, around 1880. Private collection.
