Exceptional wooden boat model animated with characters, representing the "HMS Victory", mainly known as Admiral Nelson's ship during the Battle of Trafalgar. He enjoyed a succession of victories at the head of the British fleet between 1778 and 1812. Today HMS Victory is the centerpiece of the Royal Naval Museum in Portsmouth. Our model is a faithful reproduction of the ship with attention to detail and remarkable quality of execution. It dates from the end of the 19th century, around 1880. Private collection. In good condition. Dimensions: h.70 cm x l.108 cm.
