Large and important regency style pedimented mirror - Napoleon III period in carved gilded wood. Double framed mirror. The central rectangular glass is set in the frame with openwork mirror beads. The very decorative pediment has a beautiful acanthus leaf on the top. The beaded frame is decorated with sculptures representing acanthus leaves, foliage, shells and mythological birds. Mirror and beautiful gilding on the original leaf.
