Pedestal table with tray illustrated with vignettes, beautiful Spa work. Dating from the 19th century, this charming pedestal table mounted on a rosewood tripod base has a tilting top very typical of Spa work. Painted in grisaille with greenery highlights, these small paintings represent elegant residences in an idyllic landscape. We can undoubtedly recognize them if we know about this city famous for its waters appreciated by spa guests... In a vignette an initial l or j. Is it the artist or the recipient? The whole is in very good condition, unrestored, the top can be varnished for more shine. Dimensions. diameter 54cm, height 72cm, height with tilted top 101cm.
