"Pocket Telescope With Three Draws, 18th Century"
Small travel telescope with three prints made of cardboard, green tinted vellum and small gilded irons and covered in leather. The instrument is not signed but French dating from the mid-18th century. It measures closed, with its two caps, 24cm in length and stretched in position giving a clear view, 64.5cm in length. Very good original and working condition. The instrument has retained its two caps and its period optics. Only defect to note: small tears at the base of the second tube or draw (see the last two photos). Unusual model as is, complete.
