An interesting mail clip with a violonné base decorated with flowers, the upper part adorned with three medallions showing views of Paris, including the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre palace and the palace of the 1878 Paris Universal Exhibition. This letter clip is a souvenir of the 1878 Exposition Universelle, produced and sold on this occasion to spread the image of the modernity of Paris.
