Hermes Rare Mythological Empire Clock, Ht 39.
Empire period clock representing HERMES God of merchants, shepherds, travelers, carries the petasus, the caduceus and the purse. You can notice that the body of the clock is identical to the "negro" sailor clock, with an octagonal base, same attributes and friezes, cotton ball where the movement is inscribed... In mercury-gilded bronze, very beautiful gilding original, some wear due to time, bronze cotton ball with dark sea green patina. Wire movement revised by watchmaker with its balance wheel and key.
