Elegant pair of hors d'oeuvre serving cutlery set in solid silver and mother-of-pearl.The blade, the fork and the ferrules are in solid silver. The shovel receives a finely carved decoration depicting a bird flying among plants while the fork, pierced with a trilobed motif, is delicately carved with foliage, acanthus, flowers and foliage with nuanced backgrounds. The ferrules are made of beaded acanthus leaves punctuated with laurel garlands. The handles are mother-of-pearl.
Hallmarks:
• Minerva (French mark for solid silver).
• Master goldsmith: CC and a key for Camille Clément (1898-1910).
