He first studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow and in 1939 left for France and five Stahl quickly on the Côte d'Azur . First in Nice, then Menton, St Paul de Vence, Juan-les-Pins and Vallauris for meetings, Picasso and Chagall, as well as Matisse, with whom he founded the international biennial Dar de Menthon.
