Precious Chinese Ink In A Box, Polychrome Painted, Signed, 1900

Suite of 4 blocks of Chinese ink for traditional Calligraphy, they are molded, illuminated and gilded, same size, like a Chinese folding screen with 4 leaves decorated on front of a procession of characters bringing offerings, accompanied by musicians and incense bearers, joining priest and wise men, contemplating them from the top of a beautiful staircase.
13 characters, and two deities in clouds...
back are poems and seals calligraphed in gold. I don't know how to read Chinese. First of the 4 pais is signed with ideograms on edge.
They are contained and encrusted in a cardboard lined silk case, lid was once made from glass...
Beautiful condition, little wear or stains, colors not faded, a beautiful gift.
