Paul Sormani et fils, Paris. Small writing cabinet in black leather and silvered brass. It opens with three doors, revealing a writing set, a writing desk, and compartments. The interior is lined in black leather with silver trim. The doors are decorated with openwork silvered brass motifs, corner brackets, molded trim, and silver braid tooled in small pieces. It rests on small, round, silvered bronze feet. Key missing. Very good overall condition. (Small tears to the pockets and inside one door.) Two bottles with silver stoppers (not original). Period: late 19th century.
