Three (3) monolithic ceramic sculptures by Hervé Rousseau (born in 1955), from the “Torses” series from 2009, in thick milky white glazed stoneware with traces from the flames.
These works were exhibited at the La Piscine Museum in Roubaix in March and April 2015.
Hervé Rousseau works and lives in La Borne.
Unique pieces. Monogrammed.
Respective height 36cm (14.4 inches).
Cooked at full flame in a Naborigama wood oven for over six days.
These pieces are marked by the gestural imprint of the artist.
Rough blocks, landscapes and torsos, marked with handprints and thumbprints.
