Georges Jouve Ceramic Trash Can With Two Compartments
Artist: Georges Jouve
Rare two-compartment trinket box by Georges Jouve.
Asymmetrical and rounded in shape, reminiscent of the silhouette of a pebble.
Signed “Jouve” and “alpha” on the bottom.
Good condition; note a small chip in the enamel on the top surface and a very slight impact mark around the rim—see photos.
No cracks, no hidden restorations.
Dated to the mid-20th century, typical of postwar productions.
