Nine (9) pine (larch) slat pendant lamps, by Swedish designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson (1919-2009) and produced by AB Ellysett Markaryd between 1959 and 1969.
Some in excellent condition, others in good condition for their age.
Made of many layers of bent pine wood formed into a "swirl". They have a delicate construction, that it is almost impossible to find intact examples. When illuminated, the thin wood casts an orange filtered light that reveals the natural grain of the wood and casts a warm and beautiful glow.
