Rare set of seven (7) pine (larch) slat pendant lamps, by Swedish designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson (1919-2009)
and produced by AB Ellysett Markaryd between 1959 and 1969.
In very good overall condition for their age. Made of many layers of bent pine wood transformed into a "swirl".
They have a delicate construction, that it is almost impossible to find intact examples. When illuminated, the thin wood casts an orange filtered light that reveals the natural grain of the wood and casts a warm and beautiful glow.
