Ricardo SCARPA 1905-1999
Italian draughtsman, sculptor and medallist. He attended the Venice School of Fine Arts before moving to France in 1928. He remained in France for the rest of his life. He created numerous sculptures in different materials: bronze, terracotta, stone and brass. The Monnaie de Paris entrusted him with the medal of President François Mittérand with the motto "Içi et maintenant" on the reverse (1985)
Numerous exhibitions and Salons, including a gold medal for all his works at the Salon des Artistes français in 1974.
