Bronze planter with golden patina by the Belgian artist Van Der Straten (Ghent 1856 - 1941). He lived in Paris and exhibited at the Salon from 1885 to 1912 many portraits, busts and very graceful female figures. Silver medalist at the Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1900.
