Important buffet, from the Louis XV period, in solid mahogany, opening with two doors in the lower part and two doors in the upper part.

The recessed upper body is topped with a molded “policeman’s hat” cornice.

The lower part rests on pretty scrolling feet on the front.

Beautiful ornamentation of lock entrances and hinges in cast brass.

Nantes work from the second half of the 18th century.

Characteristic of this city, this type of furniture reflects the 18th century taste of rich shipowners and well-off bourgeoisie for solid mahogany furniture, made on site by skillful cabinetmakers.
