Important bronze with brown patina signed on the terrace Jean Baptiste Germain (1841-1910). This French sculptor, student of Dumont and Gumery, received honors from his peers during the Universal Exhibition of 1900. “The Young Girl with the Broken Jug” represents a young person standing next to her broken jug on the ground, looking distraught, clutching her long pleated dress with both hands.
