"Claude Genu : Extremely Rare 18th Century Pair Of Solid Silver Candlesticks Paris 1749"
Rare Pair Louis XV era Solid Silver Candlesticks with cast silver bases. Both candlesticks are very well hallmarked (bases, bells and interior binets) with the Hallmarks of Charge (A Crowned) and Discharge (running greyhound) for PARIS 1744-50, the Hallmarks of Jurande for PARIS 1749 (letter date "I" crowned) and Hallmarks of the Master Goldsmith Claude GENU active in 1711. These high quality Candlesticks from the Louis XV era are in excellent condition, very well hallmarked, and have a lovely patina. For an informed collector....
