it is a very beautiful cross in micro glass mosaic decorated with flowers mounted on a base of brass crosses and bearing the inscription ROMA above 'a photo of Pope Pius XI.
the whole thing is charming and in good condition, there are just two small glass tiles missing, one on the left arm and the second at the bottom, this is visible in the photos.
a lovely colorful souvenir of the Vatican at that time as pilgrims could bring back from their visit to Rome.
