Charles X Period Box In Rosewood
Wedding box in rosewood veneer inlaid with fillets, foliage and palmettes of lemon and boxwood. It has two handles in chiseled and gilded bronze, and rests on four feet with winged figures on lion claws in gilded bronze. The interior is lined with original gray moiré silk. Charles X period (around 1825).
