Charles X Period Target Pedestal Table In Rosewood, Attributed To Giroux

Pedestal table in rosewood veneer inlaid with fillets, scrolls, rosettes and boxwood and lemon tree palmettes. The tilting "target" top rests on a shaft in a gadrooned column with a tripod base ending in bronze lion claws fitted with wheels. Charles X period around 1830. This very neat pedestal table is attributed to the famous cabinetmaker GIROUX.
