These 4 beautiful volumes, the text of which is complete, are in full calfskin with raised bands adorned with gilt irons, titles and volume numbers in red and olive green morocco, triple fillets on the flat endpapers marbled, like the edges. "Philosophical and Political History of Settlements and Trade in the Two Indies", by Guillaume -Thomas Raynal, this beautiful copy superbly illustrated with the frontispiece of the Portrait of the Author engraved by Nicolas De Launay designed by CN Cochin Perpétuel de l'Académie Royale de Peinture et Sculpture (like the Engraver), and 4 very beautiful full-page figures by M. Moreau le Jeune engraved by N. De Launay in 1780 (date of the book), for the second JL Delignon 1781, for the third engraved by N.
