- Bronze signed C.Masson with triple patina representing a mouse nibbling a nut. - The terrace has a brown patina, the walnut has a bronze patina and the mouse has a silver patina. - Wear of the silver patina on the ears, legs and body of the mouse, see photos. - Portor marble base, shock at the left corner at the back on the marble forming a chip. - Signed and engraved in hollow on the right on the side of the base of the terrace C.Masson and France on the back of the edge of the terrace. - Clovis Masson born in Paris, March 7, 1838 and an animal sculptor, pupil of Barye, he regularly participated in the salon of French artists in Paris from 1867 to 1909. - He died in Paris on September 10, 1913 at the age of 75 . - Period late 19th around 1880-1890.
