Painter of figures, landscapes, animated landscapes, pastellist.
He was a pupil of Fernand Cormon. In Paris, from 1900 to 1936, he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français, second class medal in 1912.
He also appeared at the Salon d'Automne of 1907. He often painted Dutch landscapes around the port of Dordrecht, landscapes and sailors from Brittany to Loguivy or Erquy, and also sometimes the bors de Seine in Paris.
