Rare and precious late 18th century clock from the Louis XVI period. Architecture in gilded brass of the arch type by the plates of the mechanism, the cogs are visible. The whole has been treated with a high-gloss colorless varnish, against oxidation.White enamel dial in the form of a rim whose center is empty allowing the rest of the mechanism to be seen, the dial is underlined from the outside and inside with a chiseled rim in gilded bronze with gold mercury.
Round marble base set with a row of pearls.
Original mechanism without modification, silk thread suspension.
