"Gilt Bronze Clock - Early Nineteenth"
Rectangular stepped pendulum, in gilt bronze, dating from the beginning of the 19th century. This timepiece features a goddess, scepter in hand and raising a tambourine. She is accompanied by a lyre, a pan flute, a vase topped with a garland and an arrow. The dial, white enamel and graduated in Roman numerals, is underlined by a crown and floral motifs. The base, delicately carved, illustrates an angel and a woman fighting against large insects using torches. The set rests on four feet decorated with scrolls and flowers.
