Large clock from the Charles X period around 1850.Imposing patinated bronze sculpture after Charles Antoine COYSEVOX with the figure of naked Venus, crouching, resting her left buttock on the back of a turtle, one of these usual attributes.
The base in yellow Sienna marble, adorned with the outline of a leaf of water and hosts a large finely and richly chiseled gilt bronze dial, set with twelve enameled cartouches indicating the hours in blue Roman numerals, the whole is protected by a curved glass.
