Louis XVI cylinder desk with mahogany cloverleaf locks opening with 7 drawers, one of which is double and a cylinder with a slight crack on the front. It has a sliding worktop on the front and a pull tab on each side. It rests on 4 tapered legs ringed with gilt bronze at the top and finished with gilt bronze ball hooves at the bottom. The side boxes as well as all the drawers are underlined with a bronze quarter round. The double drawer located to the right of the desk has a fortified cassette with a sliding top fitted with a lock. The open cylinder discovers 4 drawers, one of which is arranged to receive an ink kit. Between the two rows of drawers is a niche surrounded by two secret drawers in perfect working order. The cylinder is surmounted by three drawers. The set is topped with a glued white marble top, surrounded by a gilded bronze gallery. Original bronze cylinder handles, net lock entries, pulling rings for the pull tabs and lens buttons for the worktop. Brass plates included in reserves. Desk sold with its cloverleaf key. Fonsures oak. Original golden leather also small irons with some wear. Dimensions of the zippers: 57 x 36 cm. Furniture entirely "in its own juice" because everything is original!
